Overview
The foundation every regulator reads first
Your business-wide risk assessment explains why your controls look the way they do. When it is generic or out of date, every other control is harder to defend. Regulators and banking partners routinely request it before anything else.
Hilix builds a risk assessment using your real data: customer mix, transaction flows, corridors, products and delivery channels. We score inherent risk, map and test mitigating controls, rate residual risk against your appetite and produce an action plan for any gaps.

FAQ
Business-Wide AML Risk Assessment: common questions
How often should we update the risk assessment?
At least annually, and whenever you launch a new product, enter a new market, change customer types or experience a significant incident.
Do you need our transaction data?
Yes, where possible. Aggregated data on customers, corridors and volumes makes the assessment specific and far more credible.
Does this cover sanctions and fraud too?
We can include sanctions, fraud and proliferation financing risk in the same assessment or prepare them as separate documents.
