Overview
Know your gaps, then close them on your terms
Most regulatory findings are predictable. Missing procedures, untested controls, outdated risk assessments and weak MI tend to surface in every review. A readiness assessment finds them early, when fixing them is cheaper and you control the timeline.
Hilix maps applicable requirements to your controls, tests a sample of activity and rates each gap by risk. We then help you fix the highest priorities and assemble an evidence pack that lets reviewers see, quickly and clearly, how your business meets its obligations.

FAQ
Regulatory Readiness & Gap Assessment: common questions
How is this different from an audit?
A readiness review is forward-looking and collaborative. It focuses on preparing you, fixing gaps and building evidence, rather than issuing a formal independent opinion.
Can it cover non-AML areas?
Yes. We can include safeguarding, complaints, operational resilience, outsourcing, IT governance and consumer protection requirements.
How long does it take?
Usually two to five weeks for the assessment, depending on scope, with remediation timelines agreed afterwards.
